Louis Seño Indians' Soboba Band Begins To Replace Casino And Resort

In 1983, the Soboba tribe in San Jacquinto, California, gingerly entered the Indian game with the humble beginnings of a simple bingo hall with a temporary spring structure and a pre-built trailer. On February 28, 2017, after 22 years of struggle and challenge, legal battles and negotiations, change and construction, the tribe and casino management proudly broke ground to mark the beginning of the construction of a modern and permanent casino resort.

Michael Castello, a tribal administrator and member of the Soboba tribe, started the ceremony by welcoming invited guests and dignitaries present, then introduced Stephen Estrada, president of the Kahuila Indians Santa Rosa Band, who offered traditional prayers and blessings in his native language. Castello then introduced the Soboba Tribal Council President Scott Kozat, Vice President Isaiah Vivanco, Treasury Secretary Kelly Hurtado, Sergeant at Arms Rose Salgado, and Secretary Monica Herrera. Just a few words before the chairman, the Salgado woman acknowledged the presence, support, and participation of all tribal elders, young people, and members. She said, "We must thank all the ancestors before us and those who fought for our rights," and Salgado continued, "We must thank all the tribal members and elders who have been patient with us."

Those present included hundreds of invitees who came to see the historic event, as well as Soboba tribal members, administrators, city and business officials, casino executives and team members. 안전한 파워볼사이트

The Soboba Band of Louis Seño Indians, who have long aspired and struggled to replace their current facilities, celebrated the official groundbreaking of their new building at the corner of Lake Park Drive and Soboba Road only by invitation. The new resort casino will be located a few miles from the current casino building.

The modern and large-scale gaming, service, and entertainment facilities are equipped with 2,000 slot machines and 24 table games on 83,500 square feet of casino floor and are surrounded by restaurants, bars, sports lounges, luxury rooms, and other indoor and outdoor amenities. This new state-of-the-art art hotel will have more than 200 rooms and suites. According to Scott Sirois, the person tasked with building this monumental project and the general manager of a future casino resort, guests will arrive at a hotel equipped with extravagant amenities, luxurious suites, modern technology, and some amazing facilities. This additional work will be the first for the inland empire and possibly the country.

C.W. Driver, a builder tasked with bringing the project to life, also attended the groundbreaking ceremony and said, "We are excited to work with the Soboba tribe on our new casino and hotel development project," said Richard Freeark, senior vice president of operations at the C.W. driver company San Diego. "Our deep-rooted experiences in the hospitality and gaming markets, combined with our long relationship with the Soboba tribe, create a seamless partnership for everyone involved."

The new facility will create hundreds of new job opportunities and millions of dollars in stimulus checks to the community, which is an opportunity for San Jacintosh to welcome with open arms. During the landmark event, California's mayor, Scott Miller, announced a pledge of sincere support and approval for the Soboba tribe. He said, "Long after we're all gone, your legacy will live on. This center will be a place for diamonds in this valley, to enjoy, refresh, and relax. You are serving the purpose of this valley, helping people leave and restore their souls."

Located at the corner of Sobaba Road and Lake Park Drive, the land was officially constructed after a ceremony on Feb. 28. Those who enjoyed the honor of stomata at the ceremony included Tribal Council President Scott Cozart, Vice-Chairman Isaiah Vivanco, Treasury Secretary Kelly Hurtado, and Servant of Arms Rose Salgado.

Soboba Casino directors were also invited to break ground in the ceremony, included General Manager Scott Sirois, Director of Marketing Michael J. Broderick, Director of Slots Joe Whitman, Director of Table Games Jason Cozart, Director of Finance Sean Sadeghi, Director of Property Management Rick Herron, Director of Human Resources Barbara Mendez, Director of Food and Beverage Cherie Wood, Director of Security Ken Toler and Director of IT Steven Nino.
